Can not even started the technology exhibition IFA 2014 where we see things and miracles again this year and our HTC unveiled a smartphone surprise, which gives another first in the world. After the first Android, the first Nexus and many other innovative devices, the HTC shows us the Desire 510, the first 64bit smartphone, Company announced, it will be the cheapest 4G smartphone.
HTC Desire 510

Features
  • Processor: Terrapyrinos Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 cocket at 1.2GHz
  • GPU: Adreno 306
  • Memory: 1GB RAM & 8GB storage supported microSD
  • Display: 4.7 "@ 480 x 854p (208ppi)
  • Camera: Rear 5MP, front VGA
  • Connectivity: 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS (Glonass), microUSB 2.0

  • Operating System: Android 4.4 Kit Kat (Sense UI)

Although not emphasized in the 64-bit character, a fact evidenced by the processor which according to Qualcomm can run the operating system in 64-bit. We speculate that this is for two reasons:
  • Firstly because the device will ship with Android 4.4 Kit Kat in 32-bit and maybe later upgrade to Android L in 64-bit and
  • Secondly because they do not want to lose the opportunity for even a first presentation with another smartphone (the Desire 820 maybe) that will wear directly Android L in 64-bit.

In addition to the original case of the device is mediocre characteristics as the HTC aims to sell very cheap. How cheap is not told us yet, but should not exceed 200 euros. Come and see.
