According to Bloomberg agency, what will make Google is to add some options above so that each user to decide what he wants to access apps.
Long Android has fewer app permission controls from iOS and Google's change is expected to be announced during the developer conference to be held next month. Already, Google has upgraded the platform of Android so that users know what applications have access, but now they can determine what can "see" these apps.
The audit will be done in areas such as photos, contacts, location etc.

The Google announces Android 5.1, available Factory Images

 Android 5.1
Google is after the official announcement of Android 5.1 made available the Factory Images's site (developer page) TO DOWNLOAD.

Of course the Nexus will first get the upgrade and will soon follow and GPE devices.

The Lollipop 5.1 is here and brings a host of new features such as better memory management, improved autonomy, new notification profile and silent modes, some changes in the quick settings, especially in tile of wifi, HD Voice and much more including physical improvements and bug fixes for better operation of the devices.

At present, the upgrade is only available on Nexus 5, Nexus 7 2012 (WiFi) and Nexus 10. Naturally soon be available for the rest of Nexus running Lollipop. And because as we get back all holders Nexus should have upgraded to the latest version of Android device to go and see how to do this.

The process is very simple and requires to enter bootloader mode and run the flash-all.sh (or flash-all.bat if you are in Windows). Of course this assumes you have installed the necessary tools (adb and fastboot), to have installed the necessary adb drivers and have unlocked the bootloader.

 Android 5.1
In Ubuntu course your life is clearly easier to adb drivers to be integrated into the Kernel so you do not have to do something yourself, but also the installation of the necessary tools to become a mandate. sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot I remind you that those who want to keep their userdata, can remove the parameter -w from the flash-all script.

Those who want upgrade through Factory Images by following the above procedure, otherwise wait for the OTA update will be available as always gradually in a few weeks. We however do not waste time flassarontas it to see whether and how improved the overall user experience.

The Nexus 7 2012 3G upgraded to Android 5.1

Android 5.1
There seems to be no particular order in which Google upgrades to Android 5.1 to Nexus.

Many newer Nexus is still on the waiting list, the "old" but the Nexus 7 2012 3G, already upgraded to Android 5.1.

Physical stress that is pleasing that Google still upgrade a device that is "closed" in just the three years of existence. Let me remind you that the N7 2012 had begun life with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean -elave major updates to 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 5.0- to arrive today in Android 5.1, passing naturally from many minor bugfix releases.

The upgraded Factory Image for the device went on the servers of Google and is available for download. Of course the flashing of the new version requires you to unlock the bootloader, and have installed the necessary -fastboot adb- and tools on your computer.

The Build Number of upgrading is LMY47D, the same set and Update of WiFi Only version.

Most of the Nexus upgraded to Lollipop, the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 2012 WiFi, Nexus 7 2012 3G, Nexus Player and Nexus 10 have received the 5.1 Update, while the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 2013 WiFi, Nexus 7 2013 4G and Nexus 9 are on Android 5.0.x.

One last point - Above proposal perhaps heard as "complaint". I feel infinitely better an update delayed for a month or two, but be careful, but given something untidy publicly.

New All-In-One Tool does Root on Android One and other Devices

It officially the Android One devices not marketed in Greece, but that does not mean we can not get through Internet. There are also those that have similar characteristics as the MT6582 processor Mediatek, which guarantees compatibility ROM, recovery and other equipment between them.

So we have a new tool to take root in the series Android One and by extension to all devices with the MT6582, which has been created along the lines of All-in-One Toolkit we knew before. To remind the All-in-One Toolkit are automated methods of root, which exempt us from typing commands on the terminal, making the process easy and safe. This therefore can lock / unlock the bootloader, to establish a custom recovery or restore to stock in our device and of course to make root, with a few clicks on the computer.

To then use will need:

  • a computer with the ADB driver device (Download)
  • the file All-in-One Toolkit (Download)
  • enabled the "USB debugging" in our device.

The process

Follow the procedure at your own risk!
  • Remove the * .zip file toolkit and decompress it on our computer.
  • Run the file "ALL-IN-ONE-TOOL.bat".
  • Follow the instructions on the screen, giving numerical choices we want.
  • We connect our device via USB to the computer.

For other MT6582 devices

If you have a device that bears the same processor but not the Android Series One, you can use the toolkit but with conditions:

Regarding the bootloader, is usually unlocked in the Chinese devices, but it does not matter if you try to unlock it, because the worst that can happen is to simply fail the command "adb oem unlock" that gives the tool.
If you want to install custom recovery, you can do it fearlessly if your device has the same screen size as the Android One phones. But you can find one recovery specifically for your device and save it in the folder of the toolkit, replacing the old.
As for the root, you will surely succeed if the custom recovery installed correctly.

This toolkit can be used end and Nexus devices, it suffices to replace the recovery files to their respective own. More information and updates can be found in the thread at XDA

New Way to do the Root LG G2, G3, F60, L90 and G Flex 2 in Android 5.0 Lollipop

New Way to do the Root LG G2, G3, F60, L90 and G Flex 2 in Android 5.0 Lollipop

For those looking for a way to make root the LG Android device now that their upgraded or will be upgraded to Android 5.0 and have tried without success IOroot and Stump Root, reached a new method which is relatively easy even for beginners.

This is a script that runs once on our computer and it undertakes to send the correct files in the correct folders on the device, activating access in the root folder. Works on various devices from LG and theoretically all those running Android 4.4 KitKat and Android 5.0 Lollipop, including G2, G3 and the new G Flex 2!

To use it successfully you must:

Download the script
Installed the driver of LG (Download) to the computer if we use Windows,
Enabled the "debug" in our device.

From then follow carefully the instructions below:

Decompresses the script in our computer.
Connect via USB to our device to the computer.
We double click the file "LG Root Script.bat".
Follow the instructions on the computer screen.

Simple things and neatly. More information and updates can be found in the thread on XDA.

Root Nexus Player with Android 5.1

While Android triumph in our Google the mobile presented recently the Nexus Player, the first formal attempt to conquer and our televisions. This media player with Android TV but that can turn a common TV SmartTV, not much different from other Android devices, so we can make the root and to capitalize on the benefits that we offer to "unlock" the device.

The method has been written for three different firmware and is in the form of script, that just run on our Windows PC and follow the simple on-screen instructions to finish. You also need to have installed the ADB driver device and have it connected via USB of course in our computer. To get started, download from the following link into your computer, unzip it and run the file "root-boot.bat".

Download Links
Firmware LMY47D
Firmware LRX21V
Firmware LRX21M

The truth is that there are no custom ROM so far for the Nexus Player, so the root will need mainly to exploit applications that require administrative privileges to run. So it is better to first find if there are applications that need them and then proceed to root, but still very easy to return to the default form of the device.

An Original Shooting Game that Gives New Meaning to Multiplayer Games of Android

Multiplayer Games of Android

There is no more beautiful thing than playing games with your opponent a friend. From pile up video game, success for the winner and the loser Kazouri are small pleasures of life. With Dual! enjoyment can become even better, as it is one of the most original and interesting shooting game of Android. The Dual! played only two players connecting their devices on a local network via WiFi, with each of them to handle a plane trying to dispel this opponent. The originality of the case is that players stand facing each other and the game gives you the feeling that overcomes the limitations of the mobile screen.

We handle our plane turning the device right and left or front and back, and shoot your opponent by tapping the screen, which activates the whole body and makes you feel like you're in the game! Of course the winner is the one who managed to survive the plane, and there is a cooperation game in which both players are battling to protect the space between the two devices! Also important is that the game exists in Android and the iOS and so no matter what device have both players. It is really too pleasant although not a scenario, but As if the FIFA and Pro who gather in homes to play with friends, have? You'll find it for free on Play Store

Is this the best lock on Android?

A new lock mode included the Google's latest update of Google Play Services and none other than the "On body detection smart lock".

Of course, as the name suggests, the specific blocking understand when our mobile phone is in contact with our body and locked accordingly.

Specifically, this system uses the accelerometer of our device to occupy when located in the pocket or our palm and not requesting pin-pattern to unlock. In this way, of course, we are able to use our device more quickly as we would if we had a smartwatch to us.

Of course, when touching our device on a flat surface (a table), the device will realize that it is no longer used and will lock itself. In any case, if the time you use your smartphone we give it to someone else to hold it in his hand, then it will not be so able to understand that it was not used by the owner with the result that locks your data remain exposed.

Currently, this feature seems to be only available on devices with Android 5.0 and above, this does not mean that Google will not provide for earlier versions of the operating -alloste not announced anything officially from the company-after anyway as we have said before, she wont be upgrading its services to many devices often without software upgrade required.

As always, this upgrade will be made available progressively to users of devices with the nexus precede and other devices to follow. Naturally impatient can flassaroun the Google Play Services directly from here.

One of the new features in Android L will be automatically encrypt data

Android L
Following revelations on electronic intercepts the NSA, is a natural and next to no longer have confidence in our portable devices, or at least treat them with suspicion. The Google company as a literal data management is always the first accused (not without a lot of times) in these cases the shot to catch everything and Android. Stays close to the situation then, Google announced today that the upcoming version of Android L will encrypt out-of-the-box data of our device, to avoid not only watch but also phenomena such as Heartbleed. Aside from the obvious increase in operating safety, this is a smart move on the part of the company, mainly because in any request for waiver of confidentiality by agencies of the state, will not be able to give them our data, as well as the unique decryption key will be located in our device. Locks that substance and herself from the outside. This option already exists in the security settings of Android, but the Android L will necessarily activated when you first set up the device. But the question is: "Since Google has already made its debt to us by adding this option to Android, because it should be enforced?" There has certainly become clear during the set-up if you choose "Yes" or "No" or simply informs us that encryption is mandatory, but it is an arrangement that will both help to increase the security of Android, but the other may create problems for power user who frequently change custom ROM.

Once appeared in Android and really broke buying GPS devices, as there was no longer any reason for its existence, constantly looking for the best solution at the software now. Can we have the excellent Google Maps, but what I really want is a free application that works without internet connection.

The NavFree is one such application that is as smart screen, and does all that interest. Uses based maps of Open Street Map, a service which operates under the license Creative Commons, one of the freest license circulating software. On this team NavFree built the navigation service, which has the following useful features:
  • Full navigation system with voice
  • Beautiful high-resolution maps,
  • Quick route calculation with automatic recalculation if we lose our way,
  • Running gait when walking,
  • Address search with or without an Internet connection.
  • Landmarks using the Foursquare ...

and ... all these (except Foursquare) without the requirement of Internet connection!

Can be freely available but there are some services that are paid and include traffic updates, voices surnames, security cameras on the street, integrated Google street view and more.

So it is relatively complete, is free and is probably the best solution for the economy, especially if you take a trip abroad and need a map. The maps of Open Street Map have small mistakes but we can login to the official page and correct, helping to develop the service.

The Android Wear Smartwatches upgraded 4.4 (Build KGW42N)

The wearable SmartWatches and in general, it seems that we will use more and more next time.

 Android Wear Smartwatches

The Google began to improve three of them in the latest version of Android Wear
The Moto 360, the LG G Watch live gear and receive the update OTA whose main changes include improved navigation (required and updated Maps on mobile) but also in me.

The Google was giving a "major" update to Smartwatches this week, but I do not intend to be specific.

My place to Smartwatches've mentioned many times, say briefly that I have not yet found solve a "problem", so the need remains questionable. Especially if we opsin .. poor offer moderate autonomy.

Anyway, probably the Moto 360 remains the only comfortable than I would on my wrist (well, maybe the G Watch R).

Waiting for a major upgrade, then this logically come within the week.

The Motorola announces the new updated Moto G

In the category of less than 200 euros, Moto G is one of the best options for Smartphone.

The IPS display the new Moto raised in 5in T compared to 4.5 for the previous model. Also added two speakers that are remarkable for this price category.

The main camera has been upgraded from 5MP to 8MP with fast aperture of F / 2.0, while the front and accept the change and now is 2MP.

The first Moto T had no memory card slot, but a variant of the one we saw later (LTE model) had. The new Moto MicroSD T be "standard" socket. There are still some settings (eg, support WiFi ac) but not occupy most of the users.

The company also highlighted the fact that the device will be upgraded to Android L, confirming something I guess judging by the last series.

Within the new Moto T are again accompanied by the Snapdragon 400 1 GB of RAM is absolutely consistent, considering how well run Android on it. (Especially when you put your android L with ART and Volta Project).

The price of the device is the "same" as the first Moto T in the United States ($ 179), while Motorola are at € 199 in Germany.

Motorola Moto G - Specifications:

Samsung Surprise Galaxy Note Edge IFA 2014

The Note Edge is "the icing on the cake" and we say it is a variant of Note 4 to the difference that has curved edges of the screen. Although prima facie it seems useful, Sasmung proposed appearance notifications when the device is locked, but also information such as time and date. Here we can create a second dock with our favorite apps, and many of the pre-installed applications such as camera, using this "side" bar to raise the controls them.
Galaxy Note Edge Front

Although it looks like unfinished idea is the first step for future devices with curved screens that will affect the market in the future.

Galaxy Note 4 officially the new flagship of Samsung phablet

Galaxy Note 4
The Galaxy Note 4, the new flagship of Samsung phablet officially launched yet and raises the bar higher.

The Korean company has developed a "beast" with Snapdragon 805, 3GB RAM and 16MP camera with optical stabilization system.

For starters I want to say that the presentation of the device was excellent, pleasant, with humor, without tiring and without smoke and mirrors. (Okay, and Rachel was amazing).

Design Galaxy Note 4
The design of Note 4 left me positive first impressions, which helped the metal frame and small bezels. The device will be available in four colors: white, black, pink and -of course- gold / bronze. The Hardware Home Button, although is a registered trademark of Samsung finds not so consistent, although at this point I will refer to a different article.

SoC, processor and memory
Note 4 is the flagship device and the SoC confirms: Snapdragon 805 in 2,7Ghz, GPU Adreno 420 to 600Mhz, 3GB dual-channel LPDDR3e RAM memory to 933 MHz, and Standard Capacity 32GB expandable card MicroSD. Respectively will be released in some markets (but not in our country) and version Exynos SoC.

S-Amoled screen in Note 4
Note 4 This is the first device in the series Note that offers "more" than the previous screen. It remains to say 5,7in but increases its analysis in QHD (2560x1440), which makes it surpasses a while and dam of 500ppi. The presentation indicated that although there are already more mobile with QHD screens on the market, the fact that Note 4 has S-AMOLED screen makes it "much better" which makes "unfair" to compare them. Also contains 2,5D Gorilla Glass 3, which means that the glass is slightly convex to facilitate the gestures of the edges.

Camera in Note 4
The camera was one of the areas the Samsung stressed enough during the Introductions. The Note 4 has a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilizer, as well as front 3,7MP with fast aperture F1,9. The front camera has a wide angle lens, but also has functions for even more "wide" shots moving slightly right and left camera. The increase in Megapixel front camera has a side effect the ability to record video 2560 × 1440.

S-Pen in Note 4
The hallmark of the series Note, the S-Pen has accepted numerous improvements and corrections in Note 4 to improve the user experience and the actions to go with it "spontaneously". Along with the Air Command will find the Action Memo, Screen Write, Image Clip and the brand new Smart Select to select information from many different "parts" and the easy sharing.

Battery Note 4
Note 4 The battery is 3220mAh, the same substance as that of Note 3. The Samsung said it would provide better autonomy of 7.5% thanks to improvements in hardware. This percentage may not seem impressive, but if you combine it with the fact that it has increased the resolution of the device. Moreover, in Note 4 and will allow quick charging, ie charging from 0 to 50% battery in just 30 minutes.

Maybe something like "even more" in this area, I guess we should expect the upgrade to Android L for even greater improvement.

Availability and price Note 4
The presentation stated that the device will be available in October, so those already in a hurry to get there will have to wait long. The price is expected to be the same as the original price was and Note 3 (~ 750 euros) which obviously makes "luxury for the few." Most interesting to me is not so original price, but how much it costs to ~ 2-3 months from now, whenever and probably "pays" the market.

Galaxy Note 4 - Specifications:
OS: Android 4.4.4 KitKat + TouchWiz
CPU: quad-core Snapdragon 805 clocked at 2,7Ghz
GPU: Adreno 420 @ 600MHz
DISP: 5,7in, S-AMOLED, QHD (2560x1440), 515ppi
CAM: 16MP OIS + 3,7MP F1,9
RAM: 3GB LPDDR3e @ 900Mhz
STOR: 32GB + MicroSD
BATT: 3000mAh

The Meizu comeback after excellent MX3, MX4 with oktapyrino and InWatch

The Meizu is one of those who do not know Greek and Chinese public companies, and produces devices of very high quality, and even better known Xiaomi. The big reason that MX3 a smartphone that combines design, high quality hardware to track, something that requires new MX4.
Meizu MX4 plus Inwatch

Meizu MX4 Specs

Location: MediaTek MT6595 Oktapyrinos 2.2GHz 1.7GHz A17 and A7
GPU: PowerVR H6200MP4
Memory: 2 GB of RAM - 16/32/64 GB of memory

Battery: 3100mAh
Side: 144 x 75.2 x 8.9 mm - 147g

The Meizu choose the MX4 a recipe that made the success MX3, and there are two people oktapyrino quad agreement, the Samsung Exynos leave the old year model and Mediatek. This theoretically saves the battery as a secondary explosion relief that comes when you need to.

The camera stays on the construction and Sony are probably the same as the second type z Xperia, which means that the photo would be great, because everyone else is expected of a true flagship. FlymeOS 4.0 will be released on a truly custom ROM Android 4.4.4, which is similar to iOS and have musical ideas and comfort for everyday use. Regularly updated and passed on to later, suffice it to say that the MX3 and Flyme 3.0 is already in version 4.4 of Android.

Meizu InWatch
Stealing and is still InWatch the device and the other as smartwatch and works more like a fitness MSNBC, count our steps, sleep and shows a simple ad. No need to talk about the beauty and minimalist design, but what we are saying is that the batteries that are rechargeable InWatch and lasts from three to six months of violence continues! At the end will fly to represent.
Meizu inwatch

Time will tell if it is a good idea, however, the cost will be $ 65 and will probably only work with the office MX4. For Meizu company has asked for $ 325 and the money is a joy compared to today.

The Sony Xperia Z3 officially launched a Z2S

The Sony seems to set up six months of time known as the flagship of the z system and now Xperia Z3 is true.
Sony Xperia Z3

At first sight of the technical details look very similar to those of Z2, and going to see the full.

In the heart of the device beats the Snapdragon 801 again followed by GPU Adreno 330. Nevertheless the SoC is now the 8974-Jaron unlike 8974-AB of the previous model. On the screen that 5,2 inch.

Sony Xperia Z3 BackBattery less than the previous model, and 3100mAh, which is Sony and the size of the unit (especially the solid.)

Still camera 20,7MP, but most of the 22mm long and the fact that up to 12600, to promise better shots than its predecessor. This fact remains invisible.

Sony Xperia Z3 SideAbout the fact that Sony released a device very similar technical characteristics of the various flagship. Furthermore, there is now a days its Snapdragon devices 805 and Adreno 420 from Sony marriage seems a bit "poor" as one would expect the best flagship SoC inside. On the other hand I have to admit that I have good impressions left by design.

The movement of the device are expected later in September, when the funds are not yet known. (Although we 700+ as the first job is very safe "bet".)
