When
HTC announced the HTC One (M8) earlier this year , he put in place a
new policy to keep older devices updated for at least two years . This meant new Sense UI 6 mattress will eventually spread to the owners of the HTC One ( M7 ) . In April HTC announced the update to come out to carriers to be certified for delivery before the end of May. Both T-Mobile and Verizon have already started rolling out the update over the last two weeks . Now the owners on the Sprint network can breath a sigh of relief , as it is their turn to get the new version.
As with the other players , the update is all about the UI layer and not the underlying version of Android. Users will get all the new features of Sense 6 with the new Blinkfeed, Camera and Gallery TV App. The update is rolling out gradually starting today . Users can manually check to see if provided for by going to Settings
-> System Updates - > Update Software HTC -> Check Now .
This
leaves only AT & T users are still waiting for the carrier to
verify the information and start pushing out to customers on their
network .
