The OmniROM now supports syncing contacts and through the open source protocol CardDAV

OmniROMROM-assessed a respectable open source, the Omni is forced to constantly find new ways to serve users who love the FOSS (Free Open Source Software) software. Latest addition to the arsenal of features is sync contacts via CardDAV for those who want to avoid Google.

The CardDAV protocol is therefore an open source sync contacts, which you can build on our own personal server. With the addition of the Omni application "Persons" of Android, we are the contacts to sync in our Android device, without sharing it with Google, to Apple, Yahoo and the other companies. This is not only good for our privacy and for our company, as we can synchronize our portfolio on our mobile devices, knowing that it is safe in the office.

The operation will be added to the application "Persons" of the next OmniROM upgrades while you use other ROM does not have to be jealous because there apps on Play Store that can do this job.
