Apple: Enables Ad Blockers in Safari in iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan

Apple Ad Blockers
We all know that when we surf the internet advertisements can become quite annoying, making the process not so pleasant. The solution to give the partially ad blockers, specially designed programs that filter out ads and do not show.

A corresponding movement seems to do and Apple, giving the option to use an ad blocker software on iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan. The new function will give instructions in Safari to block cookies, images, pop-ups and other sources during the tour. This option will be native to the devices of Apple, simplifying things.

The move may seem strange from a company that makes a profit from advertising. Advertisements But Apple's working through the applications in the form of a banner usually rather through Safari. So we will not say that beating herself with this move, but more Google and other major players.

Furthermore, recalling that Google with recent statements had not said that it is not opposed to such software.

Google Search: Indicates Pages that are Slow to Load

Google Search
Google is likely to renew the effects of mobile search so that now indicate which of the pages that will appear delayed load. Based on the connection of the mobile Internet, which can be affected by various events, the results show the marked accordingly to pages that will take time.

As shown by the following screenshot on the left side of the proposed website, is marked "Slow to load". This labeling occurs mainly YouTube links which are expected to be delayed compared to the websites containing text.

In this way Google wants to improve the surfing experience on mobile devices so that users know in advance and decide to be opened on the page, but will wait to load slowly, or whether to leave it for later.

Generally the Android M Google wants to improve mobile surfing adding custom tabs and deep-linking for apps to open directly from the search results and you do not have to open the user.

Sony: Sends calls for press event 26 Μay
The Sony India began sending invitations to the press event to be held on May 26 in New Delhi. The invitation as usual does not explain us exactly what will be announced, but it gives us some hints to guess what can be seen.

The invitation shall «Block your date» and in the background there is water, that means that we will see a waterproof device, such as the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua that can make his entry into the Indian market.

However, reports indicate that he can see it announced two devices, of which one will be the global version of its flagship Sony Xperia Z4. New Aluminum-ion Battery Charges in one Minutes

We have come today to have in our mobile QHD screens and powerful processors, but the perennial problem called "battery" remains unresolved. Often see researchers to discover something new, but for now if we see any real progress in practice.

Scientists from Stanford University are working on a new innovation that could bring higher performance aluminum ion batteries that charge very quickly, are more economical and last longer.

Unlike lithium-ion batteries under what specific conditions can explode this battery Stanford University has no such risk.

The battery is made up of two electrodes, a cathode is positively charged and the other negatively charged anode aluminum. The battery combines an aluminum anode and a cathode of graphite, together with an ionic liquid electrolyte within a flexible "pouch."

The tests showed that the aluminum ion batteries have 7500 recharge cycles without losing any of their skills. Similarly, lithium batteries have approximately 1000 cycles. Given therefore the possibility to charge the battery in 1 minute, talking about very significant development.

Moreover, aluminum is cheaper than lithium, so the batteries are more economical while the fact that it is flexible and can allow for better development of flexible smartphones.

To say that yet road until you come to the market this technology, but it certainly is an important development.

The Android Wear Smartwatches upgraded 4.4 (Build KGW42N)

The wearable SmartWatches and in general, it seems that we will use more and more next time.

 Android Wear Smartwatches

The Google began to improve three of them in the latest version of Android Wear
The Moto 360, the LG G Watch live gear and receive the update OTA whose main changes include improved navigation (required and updated Maps on mobile) but also in me.

The Google was giving a "major" update to Smartwatches this week, but I do not intend to be specific.

My place to Smartwatches've mentioned many times, say briefly that I have not yet found solve a "problem", so the need remains questionable. Especially if we opsin .. poor offer moderate autonomy.

Anyway, probably the Moto 360 remains the only comfortable than I would on my wrist (well, maybe the G Watch R).

Waiting for a major upgrade, then this logically come within the week.

New to CyanogenMod: Keep the Recents button to return to the previous application

CyanogenMod

A new feature will be available to users of CyanogenMod in upcoming versions, use the Recent button will acquire the function Alt + Tab that we used in our computer.

Those who use it know how convenient it is with a move to switch between the last two but applications, mainly by the operation of copy & paste cake. So keeping the button pressed Recent, we can now return to the last open application we doing exactly the same thing and the CM.
CyanogenMod: Keep the Recents button to return to the previous

This is not something new to Android as users of Omni, Paranoid Android, Carbon and other known ROM already available to this function. But it is remarkable how the creators are motivated features without the "closed" with patents, giving free to anyone who wants to incorporate in his work.

LG G Watch R : Smart Watch Teased with a Circular Display for the IFA

LG G Watch R

Great strides we march to the IFA 2014 and the manufacturers have long since begun to make us their gadget novelties tasty. Forefront: LG. The South Korean manufacturer has now announced for the first time in a video his LG G Watch R, which is due to their round display of Moto make 360 competitors.

The LG G Watch (test) is true only for almost two months available in Germany, which holds LG but apparently does not depend on to present the successor of the smart clock soon. Corresponding rumors had already been made on Monday, which can be viewed with the now surfaced video teaser as confirmed. Under the title "LG's New Wearable" the teaser was set on the official YouTube channel.

You can see alongside sparkling animations also, as a one circuit arising from a square - not just a subtle hint that the next Wearable from the house of LG is likely to be equipped with a round display. Back in April, before the official launch of the G Watch, circulated rumors that LG would also work on a Smart Watch with a round display.

After a few impressions circular Watch Faces and vaguely indicated contours of the SmartWatch (see top picture in the article) you caught the end of the video plus a complete look at the LG G Watch R, which apparently on the side also has a physical button and thus differs not only in the basic shape of the original G Watch. At the beginning of the teaser is great, the letter "R" to see what could possibly make a small reference to the name: "LG G Watch R" - R for Round (German: roughly) - would at least be close.

At IFA 2014, which we call it this way, LG G Watch R are first shown. After the SmartWatch market in recent months hindümpelte more right now this seems to take some momentum. In addition to the LG-round SmartWatch yes to Motorola on September 4, the day before the start of the IFA, imagine the Moto 360 at an event in Chicago. ASUS also  has hinted at for the IFA own SmartWatch and finally there is still Apple, the iWatch could well be presented in tow with the iPhone 6 in September.

What do you say for LG G Watch R? A real competition for the Moto 360? Your opinions please in the comments.

L Fino & L Bello: The two Middle Smartphone from LG with the Styles and Innovations G3

At the IFA 2014 technology exhibition to be held on 5-10 September in Berlin, LG will present in more detail the two new smartphone that aims to star in a middle class. The third generation of the L series seems to be the most interesting with L Fino and L Bello to bring the design and many of the innovations of the G3.
L Fino & L Bello LG Smart Phones

The two smartphone therefore very similar externally to G3 and for the first time we see the LG brings innovation to the buttons on the back of the device and cheaper devices. The GUI is the same as the G3 and G Pad 7.0 and it is now known that all of the smartphone will also gain. The software also have the same camera application with very simple Touch & Shoot to take pictures while the Knock Code is also present for the safety of our lockscreen. Finally, both devices will have their own pockets with Quick Circle, which also saw the G3.

LG L Fino
Processor: Quad @ 1.2GHz
Memory: 1GB RAM / 4GB
Display: IPS 4.5 "@ 800 x 480p (207ppi)
Camera: Rear 8MP / Front VGA
Connectivity: 3G and known standard
Battery: 1,900mAh
Dimensions: 127.5 x 67.9 x 11.9mm
Operating System: Android 4.4.2 KitKat
LG L Fino

The inner workings of the now L Fino is a mediocre screen smartphone with 4.5 inch low resolution which has a quad processor and 1GB RAM. The trump card is the 8MP camera and the 4.4.2 version of Android. It looks like a direct competitor of Motorola Moto G and the wait between 150-180 euros.

LG L Bello
Processor: Quad @ 1.3GHz
Memory: 1GB RAM / 8GB
Display: IPS 5.0 "@ 854 x 480p (196ppi)
Camera: Rear 8MP / Front 1MP
Connectivity: 3G and known standard
Battery: 2,540mAh
Dimensions: 138.2x 70.6x 10.7mm
Operating System: Android 4.4.2 KitKat
LG L Bello

The L Bello now has major differences from the L Fino, also with a quad-core processor, 5.0 inch screen also low resolution, 1GB RAM and camera 8MP. The value should not exceed 50 euros extra than the L Bello.

It's nice to see a company pays particular attention to the cheap models at all levels, giving truly innovative solutions to small groups. We will wait to see up close.

The Xiaomi Stole Xposed Code to Implement it in MIUI

Xiaomi
It takes courage and love to create an application and to freely dispose of their code without asking anything in return. This is the main component of the open-source software, the authors of which we must respect if you want to use for free on your project. This did not happen in the case of Xposed framework which was copied and incorporated into MIUI, without the consent of the author.

It all started when they installed the users Xposed framework in MIUI had problems with reboots and  one of the creators of Xposed framework searched the topic to help them. They found that  in a process included MIUI named Dexspy. The problem is that the code is the same and unchanged  to that of Xposed, justremoved all references to the name "Xposed" and of course the names of thecreators.

People of Xposed therefore requested the floor to the forum MIUI, having been informed that the code added Xposed pilot and will be removed immediately, accepting the apology on behalf of MIUI. The code was removed but never so inofficial thread Xposed problems and how to deal, people added the case of MIUIsaying that the problem is treated in a waynot using the specific ROM.

All this may not say anything to many of usbut a similar project is open  source  and Android, the Ubuntu and other Linux-based operating systems we use every daypaying only our device and not the software itselfThese add so manyapplications and open source programs you download for free, which is saferbecause the code can be tested at any time and you will understand how great isthe value of the Open Source movement for the modern man. There is also thechance that Xiaomi - MIUI as the Mediatek based in Chinawhich is known to notapply the laws of the western world, it is suitable either to punish avoiding their products, or at least be cautious in our markets because simply wasting our money.

Hitman Go : A Different Board Game for Fans of Agent 47

Hitman Go Game
The Hitman was and remains one of the finest and most exciting franchise industry of gaming, with Agent 47 always finds a way to quietly doing its job. The Square Enix brings the Hitman and Android in an alternate board game.

The logic is the same as the video game as our aim is to go as quietly as possible in each level to get to our victim and of course ... the "clean". The Agent 47 has many of the known tricks that we have learned as a distraction, the hiding spot and disguises that will help you avoid the guards or to bring it back. Of course carries with it the sniper and fabulous Silverballers.

All this in a beautiful retro 3D board game where we move our hero as a pawn on the board, other than trying to finish the track, and to meet the challenge. It has so far only six tracks, with more to come soon.

It costs 1.79 euros to Play Store, only for this weekend is a must for fans of the Hitman and the puzzle game.

Lemon Meringue Pie might be called Android L

Lemon Meringue PieThe full name of the new version of Android (which we refer to now as "Android L") is not yet officially known, but we expect to be announced along with the official release of the upgrade.

Nevertheless some preliminary information parapemoun in Lemon Meringue Pie.

Initially, as we know, each new version of Android comes with sweet name that begins with the next letter of the alphabet.

Bear in mind that the Android 4.4 KitKat, before officially announced, and while it was under development, called "Key Lime Pie".

At the end of the course discussion with Nestle changed this name to KitKat, but this meant that the lemon cake remained untapped.

Many had thought then that maybe called Android L Lime Pie, which evidence suggests that it is likely. The code of AOSP and in WiFi Certification device are references to LMP, which is quite likely to correspond to "Lemon Meringue Pie".

Of course these are all indications -profanos- and nothing is yet certain. Google may change at any time point of view, as it did with 4.4, that of KLP (Key Lime Pie) did .. KitKat.

Do you like the possibility to see Android Lemon Meringue Pie; Would you prefer the "Android L-oukoumas" or "Android L-acta";

Personally my name is quite irrelevant, and instead of sweets limpizomai the Project Volta and Camera2 API.

IFA 2014: What Devices Expect to See in This Year's Report

IFA 2014
A few days left until the IFA 2014, the great technological exhibition. Let's see in detail what you expect (and what we want) to see! (Yes I know, everyone already shouting Note 4).

Galaxy Note 4
IFA 2014: Galaxy Note 4 The Samsung has prepared us for the fact that Note 4 will be presented on September 3, while numerous rumors and "leaks" want to wear the brand new Snapdragon 805 with GPU Adreno 420. course a big part of the device are the functions of S-Pen, so we want to see what Samsung has done work in this area. Apparently the device screen will be "big" (logically 5,7in) Super AMOLED technology and is likely to analysis and 1440p.

Galaxy Note Edge

IFA 2014 Galaxy Note EdgeThe above name embodies the Korean company, and refers to a device with a flexible screen OLED, which will also cover the "side" of the device. If done correctly using the above site that offers this screen then you are talking about a revolution in space.

Sony Xperia Z3
IFA 2014: Sony Xperia Z3The Sony presents "successors" Z series every six months, with everything that entails. The Z3 of the first leaks do not seem to have many differences from the Z2, but of course it remains to be see. Many times changes and the job does not seem -mono- to specifications.

\
Huawei Ascend Mate 7
Expected to be one of Huawei 8pyrini device with a processor that has built the same architecture big.LITTLE. Other details have become known (except perhaps a fingerprint sensor, which for me is indifferent).

Other
Other manufacturers will participate, such as ASUS, may well present something remarkable in the field of Android. Accordingly, in general the world of Smartphones by Microsoft expect to see some mid-range devices, the Lumia 730 and 830 which may have pretty aggressive price.

Firefox for Android: Latest nightly version brings video and tab transmission on Chrome Cast

Firefox for AndroidFirefox for Android now supports Google Chrome Cast: In the latest nightly version of the popular browser videos and all browser tabs can now be sent directly to the cheap HDMI Stick. But the functions still suffering from teething.

Almost a year has the Chrome Cast already under his belt. The little gadget, which allows you to turn any TV with HDMI port, a Smart TV, it enjoys great popularity. Mozilla, the people behind Firefox, are now jumping on the Chrome Cast-train, and spend the Android offshoot of their browser support for Google's only 35 euro expensive HDMI Stick.

In the latest nightly version of the Firefox browser for Android, it is now possible to send videos directly from the browser on the Chrome Cast. These Mozilla has specially created a test website, is to test the new feature, used it the <video> tag of HTML5. There, everything works perfectly on many other pages, however - such as Vimeo or YouTube embedded video - fails the function nor their service, which is apparently due to prorietären players or not supported video file formats. While this tarnishes the image somewhat, but we must not forget: it is it here to the nightly version of Firefox. Half-implemented functionality is just as normal as crashes and bugs in that branch.

The transfer of all browser tabs work also, the settings for this are somewhat hidden and can be on the menu -> Tools -> Activate "Mirror Tab". In a brief test transmission but also did not entirely satisfactory: the delay was still very large, also only the image and not the sound was transmitted. In addition, Firefox crashed also on a regular basis.

When the support Chrome Cast also holds in the stable version of Firefox for Android collection, is still unclear. The developers should, given the errors and dropouts but still some are at work in the house. And even if Mozilla now makes delicate steps towards Chrome Cast support, are your own plans for an HDMI Stick with certainty not on ice. But it is worth always to dance on several weddings at the same time.

The HTC Zoe Available for Many Android Devices

HTC Zoe

With the announcement of the HTC One M8, we learned that part of the Software company located in mobile, it will become available for all Android devices.

From today HTC Zoe became available for many Android 4.4 devices, which only positive I can describe it

The above tactic I think one way for the company to show a large portion "Android customers," what can be accomplished in part of the Software (and potentially convince you to buy a HTC?). At the same time the "Zoe" has mainly Social interest, so the more you use it the "best" possible.

For now the app is still "sign" BETA and is only available for some High End Devices (Note 3, Nexus 5, Galaxy S5 etc), but this is expected to change soon with the upgrade just up the final version.

The app allows you to create short "highlights" with images and video captured by our device (also called "zoes") and share with other users of the application. I could bitch about the forced login with Facebook or G +, but since there is no beta tag will do. Oh, wait, I just did!

Stats Android Devices (August 2014): Latest Version of Android OS is install on 29.9% of Total Devices

android statistics august 2014The latest statistical distribution of versions of Android for August were available from Google.

As we would expect, the latest version of Android "staged" and another, and is installed on 20.9% of total devices, as of 17.9% last month

The three versions of Android Jelly Bean now hold 54.2% of the "cake", a reduced rate compared to 56.5% in July.

Downward was the path of Android 4.0 ICS, and remained practically unchanged rates of Android 2.2 and 2.3 (0.7% and 13.6% respectively).

A developer, using the Jelly Bean APIs in applications at his disposal 75.1% of Android devices that visit the Google Play. In the same case last month, the app will be available in 74.4% of Android devices.
android statistics august 2014

Finally to mention that Android devices supporting OpenGL ES 3.0 hold almost 20% of the pie, which shows that about so many are "flagships".
android statistics august 2014

However, unfortunately many times to advertise that your GPU supports OpenGL ES 3.0, does not necessarily mean that developers can use.

Disappointing Shows a Price of Motorola Moto G2 to be Unveiled in Early September

Motorola Moto G2

All agreed last year that the Moto G is a miracle quality with price we could not imagine that we will see a mainstream company (there are Chinese). The first information about his successor but are not the best because if proved true, would lose its best feature, excellent value.

The Moto G2, then, Moto G + 1 as likely with little difference with the Moto G at harware, as the screen will go from 4.5 inch to 5.0 inch at 720p resolution, the camera of 5MP in 8MP and is dikarto (dualSIM). Remain processor (Snapdragon 400 @ 1.2GHz), the RAM (1GB) and connectivity (3G), and is very likely to port microSD.

The price refers to the foreign press as a double and that's because in America the Moto G cost $ 150 and Moto G2 will have the price of $ 300. In Greece, however, saw the 180 € and the new model is supposed to cost 250 €. But it is worth to give the extra amount when in such small differences and the fact that the price of Moto G will be reduced even further?

The Script Makes the Update of Custom ROM

Custom ROM

Upgrading the ROM is always a happy event, but when we are forced to download the whole is not the best. Why does not follow the practice of all OmniROM wherein Delta update available are small in size and contain only those changes resulting?

Those dealing with the ROM developing you can do the same with DeltaJen, a script which compares with the previous and the next version produces a small * .zip file that contains only the changes! Has an in language python, known in the circles of Linux, which works but on all operating systems. To use the terminal needs but if you create your own ROM, it should possess well.

We must therefore install the Python (tested in 2.7 and 3.2+ versions) as well as some more tools that you can find here. When you get all in place the command to create the Delta update is as follows:

python DeltaJen.py -b <ROMv1.zip> -i <ROMv2.zip> -o <output.zip>

Where "ROMv1.zip" put the path of the previous version of our ROM where "ROMv2.zip" put our last issue and if we let the "output.zip" as it is just us create a file called "output" .

This file can now put it on our device and install it through recovery, attention, however, because the device will be running a version of "ROMv1" which we used as a base to create the "ROMv2".

It is increasingly becoming a mandate to save the ROM developer from hosting large files in the cloud account, while users will be able to less space to keep many of the ROM version using, if needed in the future. You can find more information in the thread tool at XDA.
