Greenify: New version brings apps & processes without root more easily in hibernation

Greenify, is a very popular app under root users. This allows applications and processes running in the background, "freeze" automatically, so as to improve both performance and battery life of a device. To use the application in full, root privileges are required, however, so far. Now the developer of the popular app has been able to make further progress in Version 2.4, to enable apps, even if non-rooted devices into hibernation.
Greenify

In January of that year, Greenify developers Oasis Feng a new version of its tools, in which applications and processes could also turn on smartphones without root access. However, the solution was anything but elegant, because you had to stop the power-hungry analyzed manually due to lack of permissions. With version 2.4 Feng goes one step further. For a previously experimental feature automatically sends apps, even if non-rooted smartphones into hibernation.

This new feature is gradually Greenify available for smartphones without root, but in the current version are still some factors to consider. For one, the app administrator rights must be granted, on the other hand is activated during each Greenify action the display, then only the corresponding applications can be transported into hibernation. Is that happen disabled, the display again. Problem: This feature does not work when the lockscreen is locked by pattern, PIN or in any other way. Here you have to consider whether you have protected his device rather against unauthorized access, or would like to enjoy a longer battery life.

Apart from the experimental feature Greenify also offers the ability to create a shortcut, which allows you to bring all the apps at once manually into hibernation. For users who want to keep their Lockscreen protection, a good option.
