While Android triumph in our Google the mobile presented recently the Nexus Player, the first formal attempt to conquer and our televisions. This media player with Android TV but that can turn a common TV SmartTV, not much different from other Android devices, so we can make the root and to capitalize on the benefits that we offer to "unlock" the device.
The method has been written for three different firmware and is in the form of script, that just run on our Windows PC and follow the simple on-screen instructions to finish. You also need to have installed the ADB driver device and have it connected via USB of course in our computer. To get started, download from the following link into your computer, unzip it and run the file "root-boot.bat".

The truth is that there are no custom ROM so far for the Nexus Player, so the root will need mainly to exploit applications that require administrative privileges to run. So it is better to first find if there are applications that need them and then proceed to root, but still very easy to return to the default form of the device.
