What should be Next Nexus 2015

Android is directly connected to the Nexus series as each version is made on these devices.
With the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 to let me have mixed feelings about this -More below-, I want to refer to my wishlist for 2015.

Price and manufacturers of Nexus devices

Before we get to 2015, will come back in January 2010, the release of the first Smartphone series Nexus, the Nexus One. Made in collaboration with HTC, released by Price $ 530 and ran the (then) brand new version of Android, 2.1 Eclair. In December 2010 followed the Nexus S manufactured by Samsung, which also released the $ 530. A year later, in November 2011 launched the Galaxy Nexus by Samsung again with price $ 649 to American providers. To 2012 it manufactured by LG Nexus 4, reserve a pleasant surprise in the technology space: at just $ 300. In 2013 continued the same pattern with LG to give the Nexus 5 again at cost price, $ 350.

Respectively and the Nexus Tablets that period (except the Samsung N10), N7 2012 and N7 2013 (manufactured by Asus) had excellent performance-price ratio, asking $ 199 and $ 229 respectively.

This led us to believe that the series Nexus will continue to be billed and seamlessly in the future. Especially when we started to hear rumors of a Nexus manufactured by Motorola, which had built the Moto E and Moto G which gave a price .. "soil". Yet.

In 2014 we saw the Motorola Nexus 6 to cost $ 649 while the HTC Nexus 9 399 $, which spoil the very performance-price ratio.

And here comes a very important point: that the low price of Nexus 4, 5, 7 (2012) and 7 (2013) gave the card "Get out of jail" every time someone wanted to compare them with other devices. A card that had the Nexus 6 and 9 to use their weaknesses.

It is possible for the high price of N9 and N9 "fault" Motorola and HTC respectively, or if you want on the other hand, for the low price of N4 / N5 and N7 to "thank" the LG and Asus respectively. And get the issue to the manufacturer of the next Nexus.

If only LG and Asus managed to give tablets with good value for money, then let's reconstruct and Nexus 2015. Similarly, I am also very positive to find another manufacturer (eg Huawei) that can efarmosei particularly aggressive pricing policy.

The SoCs the next Nexus Smartphones and Tablets

I definitely some of SoC Qualcomm. And do not say this because they have amazing ads. Just all other SoCs other enterprises (TI OMAP, Samsung Exynos, Nvidia Tegra) used in Nexus, created their "problems".

Such problems include the delay-or canceled their teleios- upgrades.

About software Nexus why

The Nexus is the first devices upgraded, since each new version of Android made on them.

Previously I wrote an article about the "negative" of the Nexus. Most of the points I have mentioned and were related to software, have ceased to exist, since it seems Google with the .. heard and corrected in Android 5.0. I am given opportunity to comment but eg for Nexus 7 2012, which was released with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and today, about three years after its release, runs the latest version of Android (5.1) having officially received 5 "major" upgrades (4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 5.0 and 5.1). Unfortunately there is not a "standard" that all Nexus will be upgraded (for example) three years after their release, or eg that will take 5 big updates, simply certainly seems intent of Google to provide (more) upgrades for the longer feasible.

To conclude the issue of software, to mention that the only factor that moment I miss the Vanilla Android and want to incorporate the Android 6.0, is a realization MultiWindow. Yes, I know, with Xposed and xfloating window or corresponding modules, or some Custom ROMs can I corresponding usability. But I want to incorporate the Android 6.0 to the use and the average user -which would obviously respect and all Android 6.0 appliances.

Instead epilogue

Every Android-er at some stage must obtain a Nexus to test the user experience they offer. I'm not saying that necessarily will satisfy him, but it certainly is something worth trying.
