General rules
First applications. We tried, therefore, the most popular as we mentioned before, starting of course from WhatsApp. Beyond tried the Skype, the Viber, the Messenger and Hangouts trying to understand what is most pleased us most. The new of the group. The UI is what we knew, easy and clean. Call quality was very good, surprising us since it is a new application calls. Another positive was that we did not see delay during calls.

Skype

Viber
The beloved myself. The first application messaging to spread its wings to PC and calls. On the positive side, the sound quality by far the best. To UI here very friendly.
On the negative tension, which seemed to us less than many other solutions. However, in tests done outside, climbed on. As for the delay, it seems there is.
Generally Viber is among the best solutions. The sound clarity is an important advantage over the other, although here we felt that we reverse regularly in relation to the Skype, i.e. higher weight in quality compared with the smoothness of the call.
Hangouts

On the plus side the very good sound quality (very near viber), absolutely no sticking, and due to the integration we said before, the contacts are those of the user and not the program such as in whatsapp.
Negative did not find anything worth reporting.

On the positive side, the sound quality and volume, and may not have the advantage of his contacts Hangouts, has the advantage of its contacts Facebook, where multiple users are much more than that contact's own smartphone.
On the negative side, many bugs. Chris was not able to make the application to transfer the call to the bluetooth headset (which was all of the above without any particular problems) while the call had cuts that we could not explain.

Hangouts
When Google does its best, there is no competition. The Hangouts is one of those cases, the application can perform flawless calls, in sound quality, volume and call flow. Alone enemy the complacency since other solutions are very close and the top can be lost very easily (see Skype).
